Christmas is just around the corner. And with it falling on a Monday, we have a long weekend all to ourselves. What better time to binge watch amazing movies and enjoy the festive season. In this post, I would like to share some of my personal Best Christmas Movies. I find them very entertaining and never get bored of watching them.
BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES – MY LIST
Home Alone 1 & 2
You saw it coming, didn’t you!
I don’t think any best Christmas movies list can be complete without these two movies. The story about a boy’s adventures during Christmas is a delight to watch. One can never get tired of watching these amazing films.
So if you haven’t yet watched them, make it a point to see them this Christmas. And if you already have seen them, no harm in rekindling the old fond memories.
You can rent it from Google Play Movies or iTunes for cheap.
Jingle All the Way
I think this is the most underrated movie. We have all seen Arnold Schwarzenegger in the action avatar. But in this film, we get to see his amazing comic timing playing a Dad desperate to get a toy to his kid on Christmas. Its definitely a must watch on Christmas.

The Polar Express
If you like animated movies, then this film is one of the best Christmas films to see. A film with a message, I find this an amazing treat to the eyes. And the animation is breathtaking.

A Christmas Carol
Another amazing animated movie, this one is based on a book. It’s not for small children as it has some scary moments but it gives you life lessons one must know.
A pretty good adaptation and definitely worth watching on a Christmas Eve night.

If you are a Bollywood movie fan, then you definitely must watch this comedy film. Though its story is in no way related to Christmas, its one amazing comic film.
Based on a Shakespearean novel, this film manages to tickle our funny bones with amazing performances by the lead actors. Their sheer comic timing makes it a delight to watch.

A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas
If you are hanging out with friends and want some adult humor, this is one hell of a comic film you should definitely watch.
It a part of a trilogy but even if you havent watched other films, its pretty complete and humourous.
I know this is not exactly an exhaustive list. But its something of my personal favorite. Whenever Christmas comes to my mind, these are some of the films that automatically strike me.
Do you think I have missed some films?
let me know in the comments. I would love to catch up to those I haven’t yet watched.
